Amazing you

This weeks cards will be featuring the Amazing You stamp set and the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies. At first, I had no idea how I wanted to create this card so I got out the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and this is what I was able to create!

The card base is in Early Espresso card stock, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”, the base layer is in the Wood Textures DSP, cut at 4” x 4 ½”, and then the next layer is in Whisper White card stock, cut at 3 ½” x 3 ½”.

Using the flower stamp from the Amazing You stamp set, ink up with Memento ink, and then stamp the image in each corner. The flower was colored in with the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, using the dark around the edges and then blending with the light. On a scrap piece of Gold Foil, cut out the amazing thinlit with the big shot. Before I put the card together, the flowers were missing something…so I used some Wink of Stella all around the flower and then placed a Gold Faceted Gem in the middle. Here’s a close up:

The card is then put together by adhering the Wood Texture layer to the card base, positioning towards the top of the card, then adhering the Whisper White layer on top of the base layer, and the amazing is adhered in the middle with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. To tie in the Daffodil Delight, wrap a piece of Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon around the bottom and tie in a bow.

I just love how this turned out and you can easily change it up by using a different color for the flowers and ribbon, what do you think?

You can earn the Amazing You stamp set and the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies FREE thru March 31st with a qualifying order! Please contact me if you have any questions about the products used on this or any other project. I hope you enjoyed this card and thanks for stopping by!

I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
