What caught my eye about the Waterfront stamp set was not just the cool stamps, but the sentiments because I feel like I’m always looking for something new and versatile. There are so many different ways to build up your card with this stamp set and I’m excited to finally try it out!
This card I wanted to make it simple and useful for any occasion. The card base is 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½” in Early Espresso cardstock. The next layer is Sahara Sand cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and embossed using the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The next layer is from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack, cut at 1 ½’ x 4”. On a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the mountain image in Crumb Cake, the grass in Pear Pizzazz, the water in Dapper Denim (I stamped off first), and the palm trees in Soft Suede and Old Olive and used the 4th largest scalloped square framelit from the Layering Squares Framelits. I tied a piece of ¼” Copper Trim around the Wood Textures DSP, adhered that to the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, and then used Stampin’ Dimensionals for the scenery. You can always add a sentiment to the front or leave as is and just have your sentiment inside.
I hope you enjoyed this card and thanks for stopping by!
